CLASS PERFORM: Hatha Yoga: The yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit in preparation for meditation. This class will typically involve a set of physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds.
·Vinyasa Yoga: The yoga of ‘flow’. This style keeps you moving from one asana to another along with the change in breath. The flow helps you stay present during the session. The continuous sequence of Vinyasa yoga is great for getting your heart going and for working up a sweat.
HOOKED IN YOGA: It’s a permanent solution to the problems of life. Anything done for the sake of refining the mind (Chitta) to get beyond (nirodha) the thoughts (vrittis) is Yoga. Yoga is a lifestyle!
